About Passage Buhan Project:
This project is part of a theme on which we have worked for five years is to” build the city over the city “for the transformation of commercial premises, storage, and warehouse into housing. The existing garage is Buhan passage, close to the Place Stalingrad.
The buildings face along a private road which each owner owns half. The garage has a façade on the passage of six meters in length. The other sides are terraced and blind.
Patio four meters long by two meters wide and twenty emerged inside the building. This space allows natural light and ventilation satisfactory for the new assignment of the place. It is also an extension of the main room in the heyday through sliding glass frames.
The interior is completely hollow and glass on the patio. In order to clear up space and benefit from various spatial qualities despite the small area, most of the vital elements of the house, except the kitchen along the passage, is concentrated in a box of 3.60 m long by 3m wide and 3m high. This, varnish medium, contains: the bathroom, sanitary, cumulus, machine washing, dressing room, converts into an extra bed, sofa, desk, plenty of storage, a staircase and a bed on top.
The new facade is wooden, in reference to what already exists in the passage: old stables which are wooden gates, sheds facing entire their wooden facades and premises on the ground floor of the building. The boards are thin, contiguous, placed vertically.
