This industrial modern two-storied loft is located in Moscow, Russia. The main idea of the interior is the contrast between the old and the new, so the walls and ceilings were left not to forget the history of the structure. All the designer solutions were aimed at to emphasizing the differences, but to preserve the integrity of the interior. The gold gilded ceilings mixed with the upward accent lighting is quite a statement. The interiors are quite open but there are private and public zones; high ceilings make the space really airy and wide. I like the use of natural wood and minimalist surfaces that soften the industrial walls and make the space more homey.
